United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith is a community of women committed to knowing God and experiencing freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ. We seek to cultivate a creative and supportive fellowship and to deepen our understanding of mission through active participation in the local and global ministries of the church.
Our Ministry and Service
We support a wide range of ministries through our gifts, service, and year‑round generosity. These include:
- Helping Hands Lunches
- Loads of Love Albany
- Community Gleaners
- Fish of Albany
- God’s Heart
- Early Learning Center
- Haiti Foundation of Hope
- Additional local and global mission partners throughout the year
We also collect Prayer and Self-Denial and World Thank Offering gifts annually, and we host bake sales and other fundraising events to support these ministries.
Gatherings and Special Events
We meet eight Wednesdays and three Saturdays throughout the year for fellowship, learning, and service. In addition to our regular gatherings, we host special events such as:
- Mother’s Day Tea and Silent Auction
- Potlucks
- Lunches out and other fellowship opportunities
