Have you received someone’s blessing? Is there someone in your life who loved and affirmed you? At his baptism, Jesus experienced God’s blessing and affirmation in a powerful way. You, too, can experience our heavenly Parent’s blessing and affirmation.
Let us worship God, our source of hope and new life.
We praise the Creator who welcomes us!
We praise the Christ who frees us!
We praise the Spirit who sustains us!
Who are the people you are connected to even though you are not biologically related? As people are chosen to be part of our family circle, the additional relationships can be both challenging and a blessing. Today’s Bible story is about a mother-in-law, Naomi, and her daughter-in-law, Ruth.
God is at work in our lives and our world. Sometimes we miss the divine signs because we don’t understand what we’re seeing or are distracted. However, the Holy Spirit shows us signs of hope as we follow Jesus Christ into the New Year.
Music and carols are a wonderful part of Christmas. In this worship service we’ll hear a lot of great Christmas music and learn about three of them and their spiritual messages. This will help you experience the carols in an even deeper and more meaningful way.
Merry Christmas! Welcome to our Christmas Eve worship service. We are celebrating the greatest Christmas gift, the gift of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Eternal God, you are glorious beyond our comprehension!
Yet you came to us as a baby and come to us now through your Spirit.
When life seems dark, give us the faith to see the coming of your divine light.
We await the birth of Christ into our hearts and world! Amen.
In Jesus’ mother, Mary, we see great faith, commitment, and courage.
Like Mary, we offer ourselves to the great I AM.
We receive with joy the love God has for us.
May the Christ of Christmas be born anew in us.
Divine Mystery, source of life, we never know when you will appear to us.
May your Holy Spirit move within us, keeping us spiritually alert and ready.
With great expectation, we open our hearts and minds to perceive your presence and hear your call.
As we worship, we prepare for the gift of Christ in our lives and world. Amen
